AppsAnywhere – Prepare Capture VMs

1. Clone Master Image

1. Clone the staff master image to a VM named AppsAnywhere Studio Master
2. Apply the AAStudio-Staff customization profile.
3. Power on and confirm name change:
   
   1. Description: AppsAnywhere Studio Master
   2. Workgroup: Engineering
   3. Name: AAStudio-Staff

2. Uninstall Software

1. Uninstall AppsAnywhere
2. Remove Apps.ENG from All Users startup folder.
3. Remove Apps.ENG from All Users desktop.
4. Right click Cloudpaging Player in the task tray and select exit; uninstall Cloudpaging Player.
5. Uninstall PaperCut MF Client
6. Clean up start menu if necessary.
7. Empty recycle bin
8. Shutdown

3. Clone Studio Image

1. Clone the studio image to a VM named AppsAnywhere Player Master
2. Apply the AAPlayer-Staff customization profile
3. Power on and confirm name change:
   
   1. Description: AppsAnywhere Player Master
   2. Workgroup: Engineering
   3. Name: AAPlayer-Staff

4. Configure Player VM

1. Install AppsAnywhere Jukebox Player from \\feas-it-files\AppsAnywhere\CaptureTools
2. Copy DefaultPackagePlayerSettings registry bundle to downloads and then apply (cannot be applied from net drive).
3. Launch Cloudpaging Player.
4. Add user player with same password as localadmin.
5. log out and log back in as player.
6. Change wallpaper to solid colour (navy blue for Player).
7. Shutdown
8. Take snapshot labelled Player Master Build

5. Configure Studio VM

1. Right click on AppsAnywhere Studio Master vm and select Edit Settings…
2. Increase the size of Hard Disk 1 to 100GB.
3. Save settings.
4. Power on AppsAnywhere Studio Master
5. Open Computer Management –> Disk Management
6. Extend C: drive to 100GB
7. Change wallpaper to solid colour (gold for Studio).
8. Install Cloudpaging Studio from \\feas-it-files\AppsAnywhere\CaptureTools
9. Launch Cloudpaging Studio
10. Shutdown
11. Take snapshot labelled Studio Master Build
